About

Magda Johnson, LMHC, is a bilingual mental health professional originally from Peru with a background in Accounting and Business Administration, Human Development and a master’s degree from the University of New Mexico. Wife and mother of 5 children and 3 grandchldren. Magda works with diverse populations using a trauma-informed approach, with emphasis on attachment, inner child work, and emotional regulation. She is trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, Sand-tray Play Therapy, CRA, CRAFT, and Motivational Interviewing, and holds certifications in IPT and RTM. Her clinical work is informed by both professional training and lived experience, with a focus on creating safety, compassion, and meaningful therapeutic connection across all ages.
