Tuition is $1999, discounts available for non profits. $200 deposit is non refundable, cancellations up to one week before event will be refunded minus the $200 deposit. If student fails to complete Teachable portion of class by set deadline, student will be dropped from the class. No refunds or credits will be given once Orientation has started.

This 21-hour credit course was developed for all mental health professionals.

 

Description: The RTM Protocol™ is a therapeutic intervention that dissociates a client from their traumatic memory and then reimages the visual format elements of the memory such as color, speed, direction, etc. In doing so, neurologically separates the memory from its traumatic feeling.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participant will articulate the framework and each step of the RTM Protocol™ and how each one works.
  • Participant will be able to consistently help eliminate the feelings that acompanied their traumatic memories prior to RTM treatment in a thorough and lasting way.
  • Participant will build and increase behavioral flexibility.
  • Participant will be able to motivate clients to use the RTM Protocol™.
  • Participant be aware of required paperwork to do a pre-screening and intake process with potential clients to determine if the RTM Protocol™ is the appropriate match for them.
  • Participant will have a thorough grounding in the RTM Protocol™ , including diagnostic criteria and effective administration and behavioral evaluaion of clinical success.
  • Participant will develop visual and auditory acuity and calibration skills to reliably identify when a client is fully associated or is detached or disassociated, has shifted internal states, or is showing signs of sympathetic arousal, and be able to describe these shifts in a sensory-based way.
  • Participant will know how to help clients regain their center if they become non-resourceful.
  • Participant will know how to quickly build rapport with challenging clients to address their trauma issues.
    Participant will demonstrate confidence and competence in using the RTM Protocol™ once back on the job.

 

Target Audience: All qualifying mental health professionals (i.e., licensed through state board or working under an independently licensed supervisor, graduate students must be on a licensing track and working under the superision of a fully licensed mental health clincian.

Continuing Education (CEs): Participants who demonstrate a successful administration of the RTM Protocol™ will receive 21-hours of continuing education credit upon completion of the Orientation and 2.5 day live online training. Note: Participants must complete follow-up certification process to be able to use the protocol in their clinical practice.


The Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol
 has been approved by NBCC for NBCC credit. The Research and Recognition Project Inc. is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. NBCC Approval No. SP-3899.

Fees: $1,999.00 per participant. Non-profit agencies may receive a $500.00 discount per participant.

 

Registration Deadline: Participants may register up to the Orientation date, May 28, 2022.

 

Refund Policy: Refunds will not be given after Orientation. In the event, RandR cancels a training, participants will receive 100% of their registration fee.

 

Cancelation Policy: The Research and Recognition Project reserves the right to cancel any training, up to five days before the start of any scheduled training if the training does not have enough participants. Robin C. Hampton, MS, LMHC

Director of Training

 Robin is the owner of a private practice that provides mental health services, and is the Executive Director of a non-profit that provides supervision of misdemeanor probation services. She specializes in trauma, conflict resolution, family court mediation, parent coordination, and social investigations. She has recently taken on the role of Director of Training for the Research and Recognition Project.

 


Daniel K. Blackwood, MA, LPCC

Daniel is the Director of The Evolution Group in New Mexico. He specializes in trauma recovery, couples and partners who want to recover from betrayal, from gambling disorders, as well as recovery from mental illness and addiction. Author of Integrity Recovery™, Daniel teaches, supervises, and is working on a new book on Mindfulness-Based Emotional Processing.
