$200 deposit is non refundable, cancellations up to one week before event. If student fails to complete Teachable portion of class by set deadline, student will be dropped from the class. Once Teachable portion of class has been started no refunds or credits will be given.

RTM is an advanced Trauma & PTSD Protocol™. Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) Protocol™ is a treatment designed to meet the needs of those dealing with symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress.

We will be following all UK based recommendations for COVID safety and precautions. Failure to comply with COVID safety will be grounds for dismissal from the training with no refund given. 

Who is eligible to attend the training? Licensed Mental Health Professionals, mental health professionals working under the supervision of a LMHP.

 

RTM Training will include everything a practitioner will need to successfully deliver the RTM Protocol™.

This includes:

  • Explanation of RTM™ and the basic neuroscience behind the success of it
  • Demonstration of the RTM Protocol™
  • Thorough explanation of the RTM™ Script and how to use RTM™
  • Numerous practice sessions throughout the training and by the end, every practitioner will have demonstrated at least 1 or 2 successful RTM Protocol™.
  • Practitioners will be equipped to use the RTM Protocol™ the day after initial 4 day training.
  • For certification, each clinician will be coached by a trainer and complete 2 successful cases of RTM™ including 3 sessions with pre and post assessments. This will be completed within 3 months of the training.

 

Course Objectives:

 Participant will successfully explain what RTM™ is; why they would use it and discuss the reasons for using RTM™ on a traumatic memory.

 Participant will be capable of administering a brief PTSD assessment and predict if the client is a good candidate for the RTM™.

 Participant will demonstrate the various techniques and steps in RTM™ numerous times. Participants will complete a RTM™ session on at least 2 people.

 Participant will be fully capable of identifying the correct candidate for RTM™ and utilize the Protocol™ to reconsolidate the client’s memory in a new way.

 Participant will use the SUDS scale for clients before and after treatment to compare emotions before and after the session.

 

Content/ Description/Topics

 Treating PTSD successfully in 3-5 sessions.

 Training will include all tools a clinician will need to use the RTM Protocol™.

 Explanation of RTM™ and the basic neuroscience behind the success of it.

 Explanation of three crucial skills upon which the intervention is based are Calibration, Rapport and Submodality manipulation.

 Demonstration of the RTM Protocol™.

 Thorough explanation of the RTM™ Script and how to use RTM™.

 Numerous practice sessions throughout the training and by the end, every clinician will have demonstrated at least 1 or 2 successful RTM Protocol™.

Practitioners will be equipped to use the RTM Protocol™ the day after initial 4 day training.

 For RTM™ Certification - each practitioner will be coached by a trainer and complete 2 successful RTM™ administrations including 3 sessions with pre and post assessments. This will be completed within 3 months of the training and is included in original cost.

o US CE Credits will be given for this training. UK and Eire delegates will be issued a certificate of competence once all elements are complete, and this can be used for CPD purposes

 

Grievance Policy
To establish a process for identifying, resolving, reporting, and tracking grievances and complaints related to RTM™ training. To establish a process for the timely acknowledgement and resolution of all grievances and complaints related to continuing education training.

This policy applies to all Research and Recognition Project Continuing Education trainings / trainers or those who provide continuing education credits on behalf of the Research and Recognition Project.

It is the policy of the Research and Recognition Project to determine a resolution when a participant in a CE training event expresses dissatisfaction. The resolution process will address any dissatisfaction with CE training including, but not limited to, course administration, registration, course content, training software, and non-receipt of certificates. The Research and Recognition Project will document and process the grievances in a manner consistent with this policy

GRIEVANCE
A wrong or hardship, either real or perceived, resulting in grounds for a complaint.
COMPLAINT
An expression of grievance, dissatisfaction, or concern.
VICTIMIZE
To act toward a person in a way intended to cause disadvantage to that person because they have posed a complaint, may make a complaint, or are the subject of a complaint.


PROCEDURES
1. Complaints/grievances must be reported in writing via a link to the Research and Recognition Project on thertmprotocol.com. When the form is submitted, the information is sent to info@randrproject.com which is monitored by the CE Director.
 2. Once the grievance/complaint is received it will be recorded via the internal tracking site.
 3. The CE Director has seven business days from the date of submission to acknowledge the receipt of the grievance/complaint.
a. The requester will be contacted if additional information is needed.
 4. Grievance/complaint resolution
a. Grievance is reviewed by designated CE committee members including but not limited to: CE Director and Dr. Frank Bourke within thirty (30) business days of acknowledgement of the grievance/complaint.
  b. The CE committee’s resolution will be communicated to the requester in writing via email or letter and will be documented via internal process.
      i. If the complainant is not satisfied, they will have the opportunity to support her/his dissatisfaction with resolution in writing.
      ii. Any response from the complainant will be documented via internal process and if further action is needed or an appeal is requested, it will be reviewed by the Board of Directors.
 5. Once a quarter, the CE Committee will review all grievances/complaints and make recommendations for improvement to the training program. The following will be considered:
  a. The percent of grievances/complaints that were acknowledged and resolved in a timely manner
  b. The number of complaints by category. The categories include the following:
           i. Course administration
           ii. Registration
           iii. Complaints about course content
           iv. Training software 
           v. Non-receipt of certificates
  c. Specific actions will be taken to improve future courses

6.  CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidentiality Information
Confidential records of all grievances, the process of resolving the grievance, and the outcome will be kept in locked files of the Administrator of the Research and Recognition Project.
